What does Kaijutsu™ mean?

"Kaijutsu" is a word we made up for our game!

Inspired from Japanese: 怪 (kai), which means "mysterious" or "monster", and 術 (jutsu), which means "art" or "skill."

In Kaijutsu, it’s all about our fun monster buddies who are learning to understand their feelings! Characters like Rocky, Hiro, Tatami, Lumi, and Stella all train, explore, and have a blast together, practicing the art of being in touch with their emotions.

"Kaijutsu" is a big, fun adventure where everyone grows stronger by sharing and caring in a silly, mysterious world!

Is it just for schools or can we play at home?

Both! It’s built to work in classrooms, family rooms, or therapy sessions.

How can I get my hands on a deck?

Reach out to drew@whiterabbitedventures - he will be more than happy to get a deck to you to test play while we work out all the kinks.

We are looking for a diverse group of parents, educators, child development experts, wellness pros, and kids to tell us exactly what they like (and don't like) about the game!

MISSION

Kaijutsu™ is a card game kids play together in a fun, supportive way. It helps them notice their own feelings, understand the emotions of others, and express themselves with strength and confidence.

The game encourages laughter, teamwork, and even a little silliness. There are no screens, no pressure—just real connection and memorable moments that leave kids feeling calmer, happier, and more themselves.
